紐西蘭的一種保育類動物Pukeko....
I am a blue pukeko big and tall.
My beak is red.my tail is small.
I feed in the swamp swim amongst the reeds.
I wiggle my tail whenever I please.

A funny old bird is the Kiwi Bird.
His beak is long and his claws absurd.
And does he go to sleep at night ?
No,no,no,no,no!
He pokes around in the moss and fern,
to find a wriggly squiggly worm.
And when the sun is shining bright,
he says "Kiwi ! Goodnight ,Goodnight !"

You Let Me Know You Love Me

You let me know you love me
In so many different ways.
You make me feel important
With encouragement and praise.

You're always there when I need you
To comfort and to care.
I know I'm in your thoughts;
Your love follows me everywhere.

Thank you for all you've done
And given so generously.
I love you, my wonderful mother;
You're a heaven-sent blessing to me.

Helicopter Open Day

隔壁Anna知道Howard 喜歡飛機,在看到報紙資訊就馬上幫我剪下，好讓我安排時間。

連下了三天雨，星期日的早上終於放晴了，這天的早餐實在太完美了，不需我三催四請，速速整裝出發了。

在等公車時看到一列紅色隊伍朝我們走來，還送了兒子一個大氣球,眼尖的兒子馬上看見了直昇機的圖形，興奮的大叫,原來他們是為這活動健行的 .....

在健行隊伍中意外遇見了學校的代課導師，兩人一起走了一小段路，後來因為老師不能脫隊太久，於是先離開了。而我們也不知目的地還有多遠，最後還是選擇了搭公車。

搭兩站馬上就到現場，直昇機的聲音馬上傳入耳中，據兒子的老爸說，那螺旋槳轉動的聲音簡直是天籟！那機身是力與美的結合....... 正為如此，兒子像脫疆的野馬，拉也拉不住......

一入會場看到有人在排隊,原來有載客！於是迅速將兒子支開現場........

有消防車救火演練,坦克車與機砲,機器人,和一些孩子 的遊戲器材.....最精采的是救援直昇機的表演,聲音大大震撼著每個人.

逛了一整天最後坳不過這小子的請求,還是破財了.買票接洽都是他自己搞定，一張五十元紐幣*2一百塊，算算比他老爸當年搭的還便宜，相信孩子的爸一定很羨慕這小子，沒關係！這票錢請記下，長大賺錢會還的！
